Mesa seeks a Portfolio Manager that will be responsible for the overall management of groups of projects and programs, provides customer leadership to groups of Project Managers, maintains customer financial targets and relationships, and ensures successful execution of all project work. This person will participate in contract negotiations and provide guidance, direction, and coaching to Project Managers. They will work independently to ensure all projects meet or exceed customer schedule expectations. Responsibilities Provides customer leadership to groups of Project and Program Managers. Accountable for maintaining solid customer financial targets, rapport, relationships and ensuring the successful execution of all project work. Integral participant in contract negotiations. Provides guidance, direction, and coaching to Project Managers. Accountability Coordinate and flow communications between internal and external project teams, ensuring satisfactory scope, schedule, and budget performance while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Conduct quality checks and reviews for the project team. Oversee safety and well-being of all Mesa associates executing work on projects. Lead interactions with internal project teams, customer executives, representatives, decision makers, and suppliers. Provide ongoing leadership to groups of Project Managers. Maintain solid customer financial targets and relationships and ensure successful project execution. Participate in contract negotiations and coach Project Managers. Demonstrate leadership, team-building, and customer-centric focus. Coordinate with multiple Project Managers to achieve objectives. Display decisiveness and maintain composure in all situations. Education and Experience BS or MS Degree from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent; at least 15 years of experience managing projects and/or customer accounts with > $6M in revenues. PE and/or PMP required. Salary $147,541.67 - $182,795.14 The expected compensation is a range determined by factors including education, experience, and qualifications, internal equity, work location, and department budget. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; Master’s preferred. Experience: 15 years in project or account leadership with significant revenue responsibility. Licenses & Certifications: PMP and Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or required as stated.
