Job Summary:
The Reno, Nevada-based position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) within a Level II Trauma Center. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a busy, fast-paced environment that serves a wide regional area. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada State Registered Nurse license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Reno, NV
• Position: Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR)
• Specialty: Operating Room
• Shift: 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with call responsibilities required
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nevada State Registered Nurse license prior to start date; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; 2 years experience in a Trauma Operating Room setting; proficiency with Pre-operative/Recovery RN, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), OR and Surgeons Documentation System (SDS); completion of Certified Nursing Practice (CMP) within 1 year of start date
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level II Trauma OR procedures such as neurosurgery, robotics, vascular, open-heart, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT procedures
