Tender Care - Gleneagle is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our onsite team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Summary

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will support veterinarians and help ensure every patient receives safe, compassionate, and timely care. You will assist with examinations, prepare treatment areas, and monitor patients throughout the day to help maintain a smooth and organized clinic experience.

This role is ideal for a team-oriented professional who is confident in clinical support work, takes pride in accuracy, and communicates clearly with pet owners and the veterinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures by preparing equipment, rooms, and patient needs

• Provide patient care before, during, and after appointments, including monitoring vital signs and observing behavior

• Prepare and administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and under veterinary direction

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring information is complete and timely

• Support clinic operations by maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and following safety and infection-control procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active credential as a Registered Veterinary Technician (or equivalent)

• Experience in a veterinary setting providing technical support and patient care

• Strong understanding of basic animal handling and patient monitoring practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to safety and detail

• Professional communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach with pet owners and coworkers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting common veterinary clinic workflows, including scheduling coordination and treatment preparation

• Comfort working with a variety of patient temperaments and behaviors

• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and follow care plans consistently

• Experience contributing to a positive team environment through reliable, collaborative support

Compensation

Hourly rate: $23.00
