RN Operating Room - Liver Transplant Specialty
Location: Not specified
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day shift: 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)
Job Description: The RN Operating Room will participate in liver transplant cases and additional surgical procedures as needed. Candidates must possess strong experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant to support a high-functioning surgical team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in liver transplant surgeries and manage transplant cases.
- Operate with proficiency in MISONIX/CUSA technology.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care responsibilities.
- Participate in training and mentorship for students and new staff.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct Liver/Transplant RN experience.
- Valid RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience putting organs back in patients post-harvest.
- Demonstrated competency in surgical procedures related to organ donation and transplant.
