Application Analyst - Clinical Imaging

Location Yonkers, New York Work Arrangement Hybrid – on-site work at Bronx, NY locations required minimum 2 days per week. Position Details Department: MIT - Imaging Systems Pay Range: $85,712.00 - $107,140.00 Overview We are seeking an Application Analyst to join our Clinical Imaging Systems team. The team is dedicated to implementing and supporting over 25 state‑of‑the‑art clinical imaging solutions in radiology, ophthalmology, nuclear medicine, and other specialties. Responsibilities Install new applications, components, and upgrade existing applications; configure application settings. Provide go‑live and rollout support. Interface with users and clients across the Montefiore Health System; support users with new applications, modules, and functionality. Analyze necessary application modifications, coordinating with IT or vendors. Determine how new systems, upgrades, or components meet user needs. Analyze business and clinical requirements. Interpret end‑user requirements and recommend optimal solutions. Evaluate operational workflows applied to the system. Create system specifications from user requirements. Create and execute test plans for new system implementations and upgrades. Document all testing outcomes. Implement, troubleshoot, and support applications, including triaging network, workstation, and hardware issues. Provide day‑to‑day operational support, advanced troubleshooting, and coordination of software modifications and updates; recommend improvements and provide proactive monitoring. Provide 24/7 on‑call coverage for user support on a rotating basis. Provide on‑site support at Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and affiliates. Requirements Proven track record with implementing, troubleshooting, testing, and supporting PACS and/or clinical imaging systems. IT experience within patient‑care settings or medical centers. Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with physicians and clinical staff. Knowledge of DICOM, DICOM RT, HL7, IHE, and other health‑related standards. Critical thinking, strong problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Eager to learn, exceptional listening skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent follow‑up, documentation, and organizational skills. Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Desired Knowledge of workflows associated with radiology and/or cardiology. Experience working with multiple operating systems, modalities, and clinical systems.
