QA Infrastructure & Data Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end lifecycle management of QA, test, and pre-production environments
• Ensure configuration control, version management, and prevention of environment drift
• Coordinate provisioning, upgrades, patching, and environment readiness with infrastructure teams
• Manage test environment scheduling, usage, and conflict resolution across teams
• Oversee test data management strategy, including data refresh cycles and governance
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and compliance across non-production environments
• Develop and maintain enterprise test data repositories and reusable datasets
• Implement test data automation, synthetic data generation, and data privacy controls
• Collaborate with Release Management, PMO, and Application teams on testing requirements
• Ensure audit, compliance, and regulatory adherence for QA and test environments
• Define KPIs and reporting metrics for QA environment and test data services
• Lead process improvement initiatives for QA infrastructure and test data operations
• Monitor environment performance, stability, and availability using observability tools
• Support CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment validation activities
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to QA and infrastructure teams
• Communicate technical concepts and environment status to stakeholders and leadership

Skills:

• Strong experience in QA infrastructure, test environment management, and release governance
• Expertise in test data management (TDM) and environment lifecycle operations
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and change management processes
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, and relational databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, JIRA, and test management tools (e.g., qTest)
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and deployment validation frameworks
• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Experience with version control, deployments, and environment governance
• Knowledge of synthetic data generation and test automation frameworks preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field required
• 8+ years of experience in IT operations, QA operations, or release management
• 3+ years of experience managing non-production environments and test data
• Experience with enterprise-scale QA infrastructure or environment management
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and automation-driven QA ecosystems
