Job Title: PCU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Inpatient Observation Unit Duration: Full-time Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in an acute care setting License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialty. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing patient acuity. - Willingness to float to various areas of competency as needed. Description: Looking for qualified nurses to staff an inpatient observation unit. The unit consists of 28 beds including medical beds and trauma overflow beds. Patients will vary from lower to higher acuity. Nurses will be responsible for managing mid-hold patients. Holidays will be a required expectation for this role. Candidates must be prepared for a dynamic and evolving clinical environment. Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations are essential.
