• In-house hospitalist role -- 24hr shifts, 7 am - 7 am, up to 8 shifts/month
• Site performs 90 - 100 deliveries per month
• OB emergency department sees approx. 2,700 patients per year
• Average daily census -- L&D: ~5, postpartum: ~9, OB ED: 8 - 11
• Primary C-section rate approx. 25%
• Performs deliveries, manages labor, and covers OB/GYN emergencies
• Collaborates with private-practice OB/GYN physicians, family doctors, midwives
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
