BSA Compliance Specialist

Hybrid: four days on-site, one remote, with some flexibility.

What You'll Do

• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) monitoring and high-risk customer analysis, making sound, risk-based decisions.
• Work the EDD review queue with speed and accuracy to support the bank's BSA compliance program.
• Perform Customer Due Diligence, review suspicious-activity alerts, assess monetary instruments, and complete high-risk questionnaires as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory changes and expectations relevant to the work.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of hands-on BSA/AML experience, with real EDD exposure.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, accuracy, and the ability to hit deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication — your reviews and narratives need to be clear and defensible.
• Comfort with core banking and compliance technology; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Nice to Have

• Experience with a case-management / monitoring platform (e.g., Verafin).
• Cannabis / marijuana-related-business (MRB) banking exposure — a real plus, not a requirement.
• CAMS or CFE — welcome, and fine to pursue after starting.

• Contract / contract-to-hire; immediate start.
• Hybrid — 4 days on-site (southwest Twin Cities metro), 1 remote, some flex.
• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with EDD experience.
