Sr. Data Analyst

Role Description
- Analyze complex data sets, understand business problems, evaluate business needs, and clarify data requirements, processes, and systems for complex technology projects.
- Work with Product Owner to refine backlog, prioritize use cases and drive understanding of data and process requirements.
- Run complex data analysis using SQL, Python, and other tools.
- Convert results of an analysis into presentable and easily understood insights and recommendations to share with the business teams and stakeholders.
- Create and update user stories in backlog.
- Collaborate with product owner, data engineers, data scientists, and architects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or analytics roles.
- Experience with gathering metrics, tracking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document processes and create reports.
- Data management experience in the Financial Services Industry preferred.
