MaineHealth Primary Care, Internal Medicine MaineHealth Primary Care, Internal Medicine is seeking a Full-Time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care at our office‑based MaineHealth Primary Care Practice located in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team of four physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APP), working together with outstanding support staff. MaineHealth Primary Care services provide office‑based primary care medicine services, preventive and diagnostic cardiovascular services, and serve a population of approximately 40,000. The local medical community provides excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships. In addition to an annual base salary, the compensation model for physicians at MaineHealth offers significant additional income potential. Call requirements are 1:12 and the position offers teaching opportunities for nurse practitioners/physician assistants as well as medical students from the University of New England’s UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School program. MaineHealth Franklin Hospital MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is a 25‑bed critical access hospital with a 50‑member medical staff, serving patients from a wide geographic region of 40,000 people. Deliveries are performed in a modern hospital birthing unit with a full staff of OB/GYN providers, and the hospital is equipped with the latest ultrasound, multi‑detector CT scanners, and state‑of‑the‑art operative laparoscopy equipment. Minimum Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. NRP certification required and PALS highly recommended.
