Assembler (Stacker) - 1st Shift

As an Assembler (Stacker) on the 1st Shift, you will work from 5:00am to 1:00pm, Monday‑Friday, at the Lincoln Avenue facility in Waukesha, WI. The hourly pay ranges from $24.45 to $28.45, plus a $2.50 shift differential and opportunity for overtime. Benefits Health benefits and vacation time available from day one. Paid holidays (up to 12). Monitor automatic shearing of steel while stacking on the stack table. Inspect core steel for burr level, correct sizing, and proper stacking. Set up fixture for high‑precision core alignment. Stack the main core, up‑ends, and completed units onto a roller cart. Install coils and insulation into the main core and stack top yoke. Assemble and weld core clamps into position. Move materials and completed assemblies with a forklift and overhead crane. Review edge burr quality and decide when to change blades and schedule work. Maintain awareness of steel slit edge burr and identify reasons for burr waviness. Inform supervisor of problems and work with maintenance to resolve them. Operate and set up stacking table, tilt table, and base plate. Complete proper core lacing and install top and bottom clamp with end plates. Operate horizontal shear and vertical band saw. Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. Live within 50miles of the Waukesha, WI facility (Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt). Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one year of electrical experience. Skills Proficient with electronic measuring devices. Experience operating machines and manual assembly. Capacity to lift and carry up to 50lb. Willingness to work overtime when required.
