2nd Shift CustodianMonday through Friday 2pm - 10pmGeneral Role Description: You will be responsible for general housekeeping and cleaning of assigned areas.Key Role AccountabilitiesSweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sweep cleaning of floors in offices and common areasWashes accessible interior and exterior windowsClean, sanitize and replenish restrooms using established practices and proceduresComplete trash/recycling disposalEmpties/cleans wastebaskets and trash containersCleans, dusts, and wipes furniture, walls, machines and equipmentFollows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and suppliesAttends to janitorial emergencies when necessaryRequirements of All AssociatesApplies best efforts and full capability each day to the work assigned by own manager.Advises manager when:An assignment is not understood.An assignment conflicts with knowledge of the circumstances, current skills or available time/resources.Obstacles to completing the assignment exist or are likely to occur.Opportunities to better complete or improve the assignment exist or may occur.Understands and demonstrates our cultural expectations.Minimum Role RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in housekeeping, commercial cleaning or related custodial workExperience in safe handling of chemicals and cleaning agentsExperience in waste disposal and recycling protocolsBasic reading and comprehension (to follow instructions, labels, and safety data)Awareness of infection control and hygiene best practices
