RRT-NICU (Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality respiratory care to critically ill infants and children.

Key Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and techniques to pediatric patients in the NICU/PICU setting.
Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
Educate family members on respiratory health and necessary care procedures.

Shifts

This position requires availability for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant specialty area.
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Previous experience in a NICU or PICU setting is preferred.

Additional Information

Staff must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
Please present any requests for time off at the time of submission.
A maximum of five days off may be requested, with no block scheduling available unless specifically for weekends (Friday through Sunday).
Travelers within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local, and local rates will apply.
