Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty in Virginia. This is a 12-hour shift position requiring experienced RN professionals with a focus on Scrub and Circulating nursing in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. The role involves performing surgical assistance with a high level of clinical expertise, flexibility in scheduling, and adherence to departmental protocols.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12 hours per day, from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM, with at least 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 3 to 5 years recent SCRUB and CIRCULATING nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases; Certifications: BLS (must be AHA); CNOR preferred.
• Additional Information: This position involves multitasking, applying critical thinking, and participating in ongoing research protocols. Overtime may be necessary; call is required, with 1-2 call shifts per week including 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule. Weekend rotations are based on departmental needs. Holiday shifts include one summer (Labor Day) and one winter (Thanksgiving/Christmas).
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• EMR Access: Epic access is required with full module utilization.
• Location: 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, Virginia, 22042.
• Additional Notes: The role requires readiness to work overtime, participate in team efforts, and uphold professional standards.
