Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Laramie, Wyoming. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within scope of practice. The role requires providing education tailored to patient needs, transcribing, utilizing and implementing protocols and physician orders, while coordinating the healthcare team and delegating tasks to ancillary personnel. The position is critical for delivering timely and effective urgent care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of Wyoming; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and a de-escalation program certification; successful completion of procedural sedation module within six months of hire; Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification within six months of hire; QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training within one year of hire; previous clinical nurse experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification is highly recommended.
• Additional Information: This role emphasizes patient care, protocol adherence, education, and team coordination. Candidates must successfully complete ongoing certifications and training requirements, including annual CEUs and specific procedural modules.
