Insurance Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

• Develop Auto, Home, Renters, Business, Life, and other insurance quotes based on customer needs.
• Contact and professionally follow up with agency-provided leads and prospective customers.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify coverage gaps and appropriate insurance solutions.
• Present insurance options, explain coverage and benefits, overcome objections, and close sales.
• Cross-sell and round existing customer accounts when appropriate.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing policyholders.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of calls, quotes, follow-ups, and customer interactions in agency systems.
• Follow up consistently on open quotes and sales opportunities.
• Generate referrals and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
• Assist with policy retention and renewal activities when assigned.
• Meet established individual and agency sales, activity, quality, and customer-service expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of Farmers products, underwriting requirements, agency procedures, and applicable insurance regulations.
• Protect confidential customer and agency information at all times.
• Participate in required Farmers and Advantixx Insurance training, coaching, and team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Active Nevada Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.
• Candidates capable of obtaining the required license may also be considered.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Previous insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
• Sales, customer service, banking, real estate, healthcare, or other client-facing experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional telephone and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable working toward measurable sales goals.
• Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and coachable.
• Ability to learn insurance products and explain coverage in clear, understandable language.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
