Qualifications:

• Valid CCC-SLP or eligibility for SLP-CFY licensure in Alabama
• Certification and credentials required to practice as an SLP in Alabama schools
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, sessions, and communications
• Provide consultative support and resources to staff and families to encourage skill generalization
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a key member of the student support team

This contract runs from August 12, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule of 32 hours over 5 days per week. You’ll serve an estimated caseload of 55 students, allowing you to make a broad and positive difference within the school community.
