Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our high-volume emergency unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in triage and patient flow management in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications are required before the start date.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to float within all sections of the emergency department.
