WHAT YOU’LL DO

Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. Practice, support and promote the Mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR). Maintain the Revenue Audit department’s general accounting for revenue and auditing reporting, internal controls, statistical reporting, daily distribution of non-gaming and casino performance, and reconciliations. Prepare and analyze audit paperwork and reports; develops and implements recommendations for improved efficiency. Review daily audits, exception reports, and audit documentation for completeness and accuracy. Ensure all transactional activity is recorded timely and accurately. Ensure fraud risk findings are communicated to and investigated by appropriate property personnel. Communicate problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner. Promote, develop, and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal and external guests, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met. Assist, monitor, and review daily audit of the following areas including but not limited to: Cage, VGD, Jackpots/W-2Gs, Table Games, Poker, F&B, Gift Shop, and Manual Comps/Adjustments Improve staff effectiveness by coaching, counseling, training, and recommending corrective action for team members; and planning, delegating, monitoring, and appraising job tasks and results in a timely manner. Coordinate the technology needs of the office; ensures staff is fully trained on systems, policies, and procedures. Communicate with and represents MIC to external agencies, consultants and other organizations and individuals. Assist staff to ensure all job duties are completed in a timely manner and in the case of absences. Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive, professional demeanor. Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned and/or needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Associates degree in Accounting or related field required. Two (2) years of casino revenue audit experience in a supervisory/lead role may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. Two (2) years of related accounting experience (account reconciliations, journal entries and bank reconciliations on a computerized general ledger system) required. One (1) year of gaming industry experience preferred. Expert acumen, skill and knowledge of all audits required. Continued expert proficiency of all audits for more than 24 consecutive months required.
