Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients in a skilled nursing setting, focusing on improving functional abilities and quality of life. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, assessing patient progress, supervising therapy staff, and ensuring accurate documentation. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care to a diverse population with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary needs. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) Active licensure in the applicable state Preferred one year of experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply CPR certification required Skills and Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in post-acute care Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate professionalism and integrity Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and movement Key Duties: Follow treatment plans, establish and adjust goals, supervise therapy staff, document care accurately, utilize therapy software, and provide excellent patient service.
