Network Administrator

Job TitleMAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Network Monitoring & Reporting & MaintenanceMonitor wired and wireless networks for availability and performance.Document and escalate unusual activity or outages to senior staff.Perform firmware updates and basic device checks under supervision.Follow established SOPs for changes and maintenance.Generate and review basic network performance reports.Client SupportProvide first-level client support for event-related networking needs.Troubleshoot and resolve routine connectivity issues.Escalate configuration or design-level issues to senior staff.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major accountability. Flexible schedule: must work extended/irregular hours as necessary including nights, weekends and/or holidays. Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN) and other common network concepts. Exposure to routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems (coursework, labs, or entry-level work). Familiarity with device operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, HPE ArubaOS). Through coursework or entry-level tasksExperience supporting and monitoring network devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems through coursework or entry-level experience.
