Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located at an organizations facility, is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a busy hospital environment. This position involves managing a diverse patient caseload on a night shift schedule, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing services in accordance with clinical standards. Job Details Location: 3 East Building, 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit Position Description: Backfill contract role for registered nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical (MS) specialty for 13 weeks, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekends rotating. Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, Telemetry experience, 3 years or more of nursing experience preferred, experience in epilepsy care considered a plus. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional information: The unit includes advanced equipment such as Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry. The team comprises charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs, with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1. Candidates must have hospital nursing experience and be open to feedback.
