As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll work onsite alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide comprehensive speech and language interventions for school-aged children. Your work will make a meaningful difference in students’ abilities to connect, learn, and succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a related discipline, or an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
• Active SLPA certification and licensure as required
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and parents—even in high-stress or crisis situations
• Flexibility to travel between buildings throughout the day (as some assignments may occur at multiple school sites)
• Commitment to providing both direct and indirect services based on students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy under direct supervision of a licensed SLP
• Document services and student progress
• Communicate with multidisciplinary team members and families
• Maintain compliance with all educational and professional standards
• Participate in scheduled team meetings and trainings
