Automation Technician II - Days Location: Onsite – Casa Grande, AZ Compensation: $32.50 per hour. Shift: Night Shift – 3-1-3 rotating schedule (Friday, Saturday & Sunday on, Monday off, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday on – then reverse), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Responsibilities Provide support of robotic troubleshooting and changeovers. Troubleshoot 24 Volt control systems. Support PLC troubleshooting, instrumentation calibrations, and VFD troubleshooting. Develop and maintain operator and management graphic displays for production information, faults, and related data. Maintain documentation standards when interacting with PLC control systems, electrical drawings, and SAP records. Coordinate with Production, Scheduling, and Purchasing teams on project-related support activities. Assist Automation Engineering with control system projects. Attend technical seminars and training to apply innovative products and processes. Adhere to safety and 5-S plant culture. Perform other plant support as directed by the supervisor. Maintain training on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies and procedures. Operate power industrial equipment when required. Minimum age 18 years. Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar field (preferred). Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment. Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement skills related to safety, quality, and productivity. Years of experience: 5+ years for Automation Technician II. Experience with Fanuc robots and Allen Bradley PLCs. Experience with electrical troubleshooting (highly desired). Strong work ethic and ability to work 8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts while performing required physical tasks. Physical ability to perform essential duties, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to help with activities outside job scope during plant transition phases. Flexibility to change shifts as production phases evolve. Demonstrated competency via a standardized knowledge check. Additional Requirements Physical capability to lift 20-30 pounds occasionally and perform essential duties.
