Information Systems Security Officer

Seeking a full-time remote Information Systems Security Officer, the candidate will manage cybersecurity and information assurance for program information systems, focusing on RMF, ATO, security compliance, and vulnerability management. Key responsibilities: Lead and support the RMF and ATO lifecycle, including authorization, renewals, and continuous monitoring Develop and maintain RMF/ATO documentation, security controls, and cybersecurity artifacts in eMASS Coordinate security-control implementation, assessments, and remediation activities while communicating risks and compliance status to stakeholders Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field; or equivalent education and experience 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, RMF, ATO, or vulnerability management Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CCISO Hands-on experience with eMASS and RMF security artifacts Experience with vulnerability management, security assessments, and STIG compliance
