Job Summary
Operating Room Pediatrics Only (Specialty: OR PEDS) at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing procedures within the operating room environment. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during complex pediatric cardiac surgeries.

Job Details

• Position Description: Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS required. Epic experience preferred.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Shift starts at 6:00 am, Monday through Friday.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS), Epic experience preferred, previous circulating case and scrub experience preferred, 0 years of experience minimum, valid pediatric CVOR nursing license.
• Additional Information: Pediatric CVOR procedures performed include congenital open heartssuch as ASD/VSD, Norwood/Glenn/Fontan, TAPVR, ECMO, central shunts, arterial switch, arch reconstruction, valve repair/replacement, heart transplantation. The candidate must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes. Float as needed to areas of like skill set, may include thoracic cases. Call and holiday requirements are part of the schedule.
