Compassionate Registered Nurse Wanted

This role focuses on a participant in Wisconsin's IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) program, with the final hiring decision resting with the participant or their family/guardian. Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care through flexible 12-hour shifts, including daytime (7 AM - 7 PM) and overnight (7 PM - 7 AM) schedules.
Implement advanced seizure management protocols and effective behavioral support strategies.
Focus on patients diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) and other conditions related to treatment-resistant epilepsy.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient safety, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
Adherence to Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) caregiver background check requirements, including:

Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check.
Review of the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry and checks from out-of-state equivalents.
Mandatory reporting of findings per DHS regulations.

Proven expertise in seizure management, behavioral health, and caring for patients with complex medical conditions.
A compassionate, patient-centered approach paired with strong critical thinking skills.
