STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an On-Site Support Customer Service Engineer / Systems Administrator on behalf of our client in Asheville, NC. This role is responsible for providing hands-on IT support, systems administration, endpoint deployment, troubleshooting, and customer service in a mission-critical enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related IT equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Utilize ticketing systems to track, document, and manage incidents, service requests, and system changes.
• Perform endpoint provisioning, imaging, software installations, system upgrades, and patch management activities.
• Support user account administration and access management as required.
• Diagnose and resolve system and network issues using system administration and monitoring tools.
• Monitor system performance, identify risks, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Deploy software packages and assist with enterprise systems management activities.
• Conduct inventory management, asset tracking, auditing, reporting, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
• Perform equipment refreshes, printer deployment and maintenance, media sanitization, and equipment disposition activities.
• Maintain accurate system administration documentation, logs, and operational records.
• Collaborate with technical teams and end users to ensure timely issue resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support routine maintenance activities and other infrastructure-related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of systems administration experience , or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting a wide variety of systems, networks, and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of system administration principles, processes, and best practices.
• Experience diagnosing hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies, debugging protocols, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience maintaining system administration logs and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide excellent customer-facing support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise monitoring and systems management tools.
• Familiarity with endpoint deployment, software distribution, patch management, and asset management processes.
• Experience using IT service management (ITSM) and ticketing platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise security practices and compliance-driven environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale or high-availability systems and infrastructure.
