Neo Surgical Group is a growing Personal Injury medical practice specializing in pain management, physical rehabilitation, and outpatient procedures. We are seeking a Creole-Speaking Medical Assistant who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.Position Overview:The Medical Assistant role is designed for someone with exceptional clinical and administrative skills, and the ability to balance both direct patient care and important office duties. This person will support both clinical and front desk functions, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, patients receive timely care, and office operations are organized and efficient.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Support: Take vital signs and perform patient intake Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and specimen collection Assist providers during procedures and patient treatments Support post-operative care and wound care management Prepare and maintain exam and procedure rooms Accurately document patient information in EHR Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after proceduresAdministrative & Front Desk Support:Greet patients in a warm, professional manner and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and medical procedures efficiently to optimize patient flow.Manage patient intake and verify insurance and other relevant information.Answer patient phone calls and inquiries, offering clear and empathetic communication.Communicate procedure instructions, and appointment reminders.Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing patient charts.Ensure smooth operations by managing front desk duties, including patient check-in, check-out, and ensuring patient forms are completed.Handle various office tasks like maintaining inventory of medical supplies, ensuring the clinic's operational needs are met.Operational Flexibility:Float between multiple office locations as needed, providing support wherever the clinic requires it.Collaborate effectively with both clinical and administrative teams to provide seamless patient care and optimize clinic workflow.Required QualificationsFluent in Creole and EnglishPersonal Injury (PI) experience is REQUIREDPhlebotomy experience is REQUIREDMedical Assistant experienceStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsExperience with EHR/EMR systems preferredReliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations as neededFlexible schedule, including occasional SaturdaysEmployment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening.
