Quick Facts: Location: Bon Secours Richmond OB GYN at St. Marys, 1501 Maple Avenue, Suite 100, Richmond, VA 23226 Start Date: 05/01/2026 End Date: 08/31/2026 Schedule: Office hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; call coverage 24/7 (weekday included) Shift: Standard office hours; call schedule included Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm Licensure: Active Virginia medical license required Experience: Minimum of 2 years OB/GYN clinical experience Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Malpractice insurance, travel assistance, and credentialing support provided What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in an outpatient and hospital setting Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including routine deliveries and C-sections Perform gynecological exams and procedures such as IUD insertions, LEEP, cystoscopy, and minor surgeries Interpret fetal monitoring, ultrasounds, and obstetric ultrasound screenings Collaborate with midwives and advanced practice providers in patient care Document patient encounters via EPIC EMR system Respond to call coverage, including deliveries and emergencies What You Need: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Active Virginia medical license Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minimum 2 years of obstetric and gynecologic practice experience Strong skills in fetal monitoring, pregnancy management, gynecologic procedures, and surgical skills Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent patient care About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care at a well-established facility in Richmond. This position offers a mix of outpatient and hospital duties, with a focus on both routine and complex cases in a Level 2 Trauma Center with Level III NICU access. Support staff includes certified medical assistants, LPNs, and RNs, ensuring smooth workflow and quality patient care.
