Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant educational setting near Newark, DE. This opportunity spans the 2026/2027 school year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 11, 2027, with a schedule of 35-40 hours per week. You'll have the chance to make an impact with K-12th grade students in a collaborative atmosphere where clinical fellows and speech-language pathology assistants are welcome—with available supervision and mentorship.

Key Qualifications:

• Active or pending Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• CCC-SLP credentials or Clinical Fellow status (supervision available)
• Ability to work onsite and meet drug screen/background check requirements
• Spanish conversational skills are a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services individually and in groups to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student progress
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
• Support and mentor CFs or SLPAs, as needed within the team

This position offers substantial support, flexibility, and recognition for your expertise. Workdays typically reflect school hours; elementary schedules run 8-4, middle and high school from 6:45-2:45, with flexibility to find a mutually agreeable schedule such as 7:30-3:30.
