Test Technician

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to support machine testing activities and ensure equipment meets the highest quality standards. In this role, you will work closely with the Test Supervisor, guide junior technicians, and perform both mechanical and electrical testing on complex systems. You will also troubleshoot issues, calibrate instruments, and maintain accurate testing documentation in compliance with ISO 9000 requirements. Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $73,000.00/yr Responsibilities: Assist the Test Supervisor during machine testing and troubleshooting. Guide and mentor junior test technicians in proper procedures. Perform mechanical and electrical testing on equipment and systems. Calibrate instruments and testing equipment. Record and maintain test data; support ISO 9000 documentation. Diagnose and repair faulty components, test failures, and software malfunctions. Verify that all nameplates, safety labels, and documentation are correctly applied. Ensure readiness of equipment for shipment. Support Project Managers during customer visits and operational training. Complete testing procedures in accordance with defined quality requirements. Provide finalized test documentation for inclusion in machine manuals. Qualifications: Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 3–5 years of experience, or 5–10 years of hands‑on technical experience. Experience with electrical systems, controls, and software troubleshooting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and shop personnel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and documentation processes. Experience providing customer training or demonstrations. Background in refrigeration systems. Experience with validation and testing procedures for complex industrial equipment. Interest in improving product quality and optimizing testing processes.
