Database Marketing Operations Analyst

We are seeking a Database Marketing Operations Analyst to support the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns. This role will work closely with Marketing and Campaign Operations teams to translate business requirements into accurate customer populations and campaign lists.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with an understanding of business processes and marketing campaign execution. This person should be analytical, organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at different stages simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customer populations and audience lists for direct marketing campaigns
• Translate campaign objectives, eligibility criteria, segmentation, and business rules into accurate target populations
• Partner with Marketing and Campaign teams to clarify requirements and support campaign execution
• Manage multiple campaign development projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, validation, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot campaign population and delivery issues
• Communicate campaign progress, population logic, and relevant insights to business partners
• Help establish consistent and repeatable campaign development processes

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in direct marketing, marketing analytics, campaign operations, or a related analytical role
• Hands-on experience with SAS, SQL, and UNIX
• Strong database and data manipulation skills
• Experience with customer segmentation, targeted audiences, or marketing campaign development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous requirements
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Experience with Databricks, Databricks Genie, and Microsoft Copilot is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, a quantitative field, or related discipline preferred

Location: Houston, TX – preference for candidates able to work onsite
