You start by reviewing inventory signals and demand forecasts, aligning with internal stakeholders on upcoming needs and specifications. From there, you explore the supplier landscape—identifying potential vendors, vetting capabilities, and shortlisting the best fits. You negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms, place timely orders, and keep impeccable records of purchases, costs, and supplier details. Throughout the week, you track market trends to guide purchasing decisions, address any snags in supply or vendor performance, and strengthen long-term supplier partnerships that ensure quality and reliability.

• Researching and evaluating suppliers to identify strong potential vendors.
• Negotiating contracts and pricing to secure optimal terms.
• Monitoring inventory and forecasting demand for on-time procurement.
• Collaborating with internal teams to align on purchasing needs and specs.
• Maintaining accurate records for purchases, pricing, and suppliers.
• Analyzing market trends and pricing to inform buying decisions.
• Resolving supply chain issues and managing vendor performance.
• Building and maintaining robust supplier relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience as a Buyer or in a comparable purchasing role.
• Negotiation prowess and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
