Job Description\n TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 10 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n TRAVEL - RN - Med/Surg\n Location: HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge\n Address: 9191 Grant St, Thornton 80229\n Floor:\n Building: Main Hospital\n \n General Information\n Tell us about the unit(s):\n \n Number of Beds -: 29 beds but can overflow adults in peds for a total of 39\n Number of Staff –when at 39 we call for a charge, 8 RN, and our ACT\n Type of staff: \n \n Day Shift charge, 8 RNs, and ACT from 10am-10pm\n Night Shift -charge, 8 RNs and ACT from 10am-10pm\n \n Patient Ratios – 5:1\n Type of equipment – remote telemetry\n EMR – Meditech\n \n Typical hiring profile\n Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)\n Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n \n Minimum 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience\n BLS\n \n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n \n ACLS\n Prior Meditech experience\n \n List typical procedures performed on unit(s):\n \n Post-op surgical patients\n Some cardiac drips such as amio and dilt.
