Seeking a Mechanical Designer II with our client in Tallassee, Alabama, where you'll play a pivotal role in engineering the next generation of smart water technology. responsibilities:

• Develop and modify complex 3D solid models and 2D mechanical drawings for products and components.

• Transform sketches, design concepts, and verbal instructions into detailed engineering specifications.

• Create and manage comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical data packages.

• Collaborate closely with project engineers to formulate and refine new design concepts.

• Facilitate the Engineering Change and Release process by processing change requests and maintaining documentation standards.

• Perform quality checks and audits on technical drawings and models produced by other team members.

• Mentor junior designers and engineers to help develop their technical skills and CAD proficiency.

• Coordinate the transition of design documentation from development to formal production release.
