Parts & Service Representative - North Branch, MN Overview

Express Employment Professionals Forest Lake has partnered with a manufacturing company in North Branch, MN that is hiring for a Parts & Service Representative position. As a Parts & Service Representative, you'll work in a dynamic environment assisting customers with equipment troubleshooting, identifying and sourcing replacement parts, processing orders, and coordinating shipments. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to solve problems efficiently. 

• Competitive Pay: Earn $24.00-$26.00 per hour
• Consistent Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM-11:00 AM

• Answer parts and service-related customer calls and emails while providing exceptional customer service
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist customers in identifying the correct replacement parts
• Enter and manage sales orders, review order history, and process job tickets
• Package, ship, and track customer orders using shipping software and carrier platforms
• Research and identify parts required for maintenance and repair of equipment
• Assist with inventory-related needs by requisitioning out-of-stock items
• Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing documentation
• Educate and support customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment
• Communicate process improvements and work collaboratively with production and service teams 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, training, or hobbies
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and solve problems effectively
• Experience or knowledge of hydraulics and power transmission systems preferred
• Experience or knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and technical documents
• Proficiency with computer systems and ERP software experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
• Proven reliability, attendance, and punctuality
• Ability to reason through complex situations and make sound decisions
• Ability to perform periodic keyboarding and office tasks while also working in a shop environment
