Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Primarily day shifts with possible night shift coverage; every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Floating between units may be necessary; on-call is not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:3 for postpartum and 1:1 for labor.

Requirements

• NRP certification
• Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in LDRP; 2 years preferred
• Must have a vehicle for the assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients and assist with delivery
• Monitor postpartum patients and provide education
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
• Document care and patient progress using electronic medical records
