Tax Senior Associate

Tax Senior Associate – Los Angeles / Woodland Hills Hybrid role with an average of 3 days per week in the office. Position is rooted within the Operating Partnerships, Flow Through Entities, and Family Offices, Private Client Services practice, focusing on tax services for family offices. The role involves engaging with clients to achieve complex financial goals, collaborating on client teams, workshops, webinars, and seminars. Responsibilities Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts. Take responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables. Illustrate budgets and schedules. Actively participate in proposals. Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback. Gain the respect and confidence of the CR team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Accounting/Taxation preferred. CPA, JD, or EA preferred. Minimum 3‑5 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm. Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships. Strong tax research and writing skills. Proven technical skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Competence with tax compliance and research software (Go Systems, BNA Portfolio and Projection, CCH, RIA). Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi‑task. Benefits In California, the salary range for Tax Senior Associates is $80,000 – $115,000, based on location, qualifications, experience, and competencies.
