What We’re Looking For:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of current special education laws, policies, and best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting instruction to meet student needs
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to students’ IEPs
• Use data-driven decision-making to adjust instruction and interventions as needed
• Collaborate with general educators, aides, and related service providers for student success
• Partner with families to foster open communication and address individual concerns
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student confidence and independence
