CT Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT imaging procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Execute CT scans and imaging studies according to departmental protocols.
Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and imaging quality.
Review and analyze images to assist in the diagnostic process.
Start intravenous lines as needed for contrast administration.
Document patient information and scan results accurately using the electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to enhance patient care.

Department Overview

The Radiology department features:

3 scanners, including 2 GE models and 1 Siemens model.
Daily average of 20-30 scans performed.
Utilization of EPIC and Fuji Synapse for imaging and record-keeping.

Qualifications

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Registered as a CT Technologist by ARRT (CT).
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT (R).

Work Schedule

Shifts include 12-hour days from 9 AM to 9:30 PM, with weekend requirements and potential holiday assignments. On-call shifts may also be expected, with a commitment of 2 shifts per month.

Dress Code

Employees are required to wear navy blue tops and black pants. Scrubs are not provided.

Location

This position is located in a facility in San, CA.

Additional Information

Department-specific orientation will be provided to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
