Job Description Breast Ultrasound Technologist Hours: 4/10 hour shifts. Organization: New York Breast Health. New York Breast Health is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and oncology care. With a focus on compassionate patient care, our state‑of‑the‑art facilities provide a range of advanced imaging services, including ultrasound and mammography. As part of a respected Oncology/Hematology group, our practice features a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center operating 7 days a week, offering chemotherapy, radiation oncology, pharmacy, and research services. Responsibilities Perform a variety of breast‑related ultrasound exams, including screening exams, diagnostic exams, and breast‑guided procedures, in an outpatient setting. Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists. Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance. Review and execute current lab protocols and ensure emergent tests are expedited. Assist doctors with outpatient procedures and biopsies. Adhere to all radiology policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent. ARDMS (Breast) certification required. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred. At least 2 years of relevant work experience. Benefits Starting Salary: $42 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
