OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

This position will perform general carpentry work involved with construction of small facilities, repair, and alterations to existing buildings as needed. It includes fitting, cutting, measuring, and fastening all types of material including framing, windows, doors, trim, ceiling, paneling, sheet rock, plywood, shingles, and/or metals. This position will be under the supervisor of the Assistant Facility Maintenance B. Two years of experience or training in the carpentry trade is required.

JOB DUTIES

Perform general carpentry work. Repair and alter existing buildings as needed.

POSITION-SPECIFIC DETAILS

Appointment Type: Probational – up to 24 months Work Schedule: Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Thursday Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
