Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care, including intensive respiratory interventions and patient transport, with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate patients, recommend and carry out treatment plans, and educate patients and families at discharge.
• Administer physician-prescribed therapies using a range of ventilatory equipment (invasive/non-invasive), oxygen/aerosol devices, and nebulizers.
• Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, pulmonary function studies, and routine assessment of chest x-rays.
• Conduct 12-lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, and assist in bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care.
• Carry out arterial punctures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS/ACLS), endotracheal tube management, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with lab testing protocols, accurate charting, and smooth shift change communications.
• Participate in equipment setup, maintenance, repair coordination, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• Experience in acute and critical care settings strongly preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
