Senior Civil Designer
Denver, CO
A growing engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join its Denver team. This position will support complex stormwater, transportation, roadway, and site development projects from conceptual design through final construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Develop drainage and stormwater designs from concept through final plans.
- Prepare plan and profile sheets, cross-sections, details, and complete construction documents.
- Create planning-level and report exhibits.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and other disciplines.
- Apply local, state, and federal stormwater design standards.
- Support project delivery and contribute to the growth of the Stormwater group.
Requirements
- 15+ years of civil design/drafting experience.
- B.S. in Civil Design CAD Technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, and Bluebeam Revu .
This is an opportunity to work closely with an experienced civil engineering team while taking ownership of landscape architecture components on a variety of development projects
