About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at JENNIFER GWOZDZ MD PA as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Katy, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
This is a part time evening position in a Walk in Family practice in Katy - 4-6 hours weekly- 5pm to 7pm , 1-2 evenings a week and 1 Saturday morning a month 9am to 12 noon.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop patient care plans.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages.
- Perform routine physical exams and preventive health screenings.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans effectively.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems. We use Athena.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care reviews.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Calm, kind competent personality
