Automotive Technician

Talascend is currently seeking an Automotive Technician for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in Auburn Hills, Michigan .


Overview


The role involves performing diagnostic and mechanical repairs to support customer programs, including diagnosing problems, replacing faulty parts, inspecting systems, and utilizing OEM systems for various service procedures.


Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs to support customer programs
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair faulty parts
• Inspect various parts and systems for problems
• Utilize OEM systems for software flashing, labor guides, and service procedures
• Move vehicles in and out of the building as required

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of diagnostic, mechanical, and technical experience
• Intermediate to advanced tool set required
• Some computer experience preferred
• Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements


Requires moderate to high level of physical activity with lifting requirements of 5 - 75 lbs.
