Ignite Education Solutions is hiring a Special Education Aide to work at Richland School District.
Hours are based on school district schedules.

Pay Range Starts at $13.50 per hour.

Classroom Assistance:
- Help with inventory, care and maintenance of equipment
- Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom
- Assist students with physical disabilities according to their needs, including transferring to and from wheelchairs, lifting or positioning (if applicable)
- Assist students with physical needs and personal care, including feeding, bathroom needs and personal hygiene
- Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to each student's special medical, physical, communicative and emotional needs
- Work with individual student(s) or small groups to develop motor skills and conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher
Supervision:
- Help manage behavior of student(s) as needed
- Help supervise student(s) throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom, including lunchroom, bus and playground duty
Record Keeping:
- Help classroom teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports
- Maintain confidentiality
- Keep teacher informed of special needs and/or problems of student(s)
Must have a high school diploma.
Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including: four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical and TB test, and First Aide-CPR Certification. This can typically be accomplished within a week to get you started.
Capacity for sitting as this happens throughout the eight-hour day.
