ICE CREAM DELIVERY DRIVER- SEASONAL POSITION Tuesday - Friday, 10-15+hrs/wk, $24/hr. This position would begin immediately and last through the end of May. Additional opportunities potentially available. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the Liks Team to ensure that customers’ orders are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. As a Deliver Driver, you will represent Liks both on and off the road and are expected to be polite and courteous to everyone you encounter. Essential Job Functions: Loading ice cream (heavy), transporting, and delivering items for Liks business and customers in a safe, timely manner. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Accepting payments for delivered items. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries Non-Essential Job Functions: Liks is a team-based work environment and all employees may be asked to perform tasks that may not be directly related to their specific assignment. Each employee is expected to help out as needed provided that his/her primary duties will not be neglected. Interact with wholesale and retail customers and ensure that their questions, concerns, and requirements are met. Requirements: 25+ years of age. Knowledge of the Denver, Front-Range, Mountain, and surrounding communities’ roadways. Experience driving cargo vans or commercial trucks. Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 60 lbs) repeatedly and throughout the day. Ability to safely drive Liks delivery vehicles under any of Colorado weather conditions. Aptitude for mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and write legibly in English.
